Financial coefficients
I'm about to start my 2010-11 offseason. A few seasons ago, don't remember how many, I decided to raise the financial coefficient from 1 to 1.1. Now, I think I want to switch back. I copied the league, to create an experimental league. I wanted to make sure that changing the financial coefficient wouldn't have the unintended consequence of teams going into major salary dumps because of contracts signed during the "1.1 coefficient era"
It didn't happen. But, I did notice that existing contracts were altered by the change. They were reduced. Can I change the financial coefficient to affect the league going forward, but keep all current contracts intact? Last edited by nyy26wc; 07-25-2013 at 11:31 AM. |

I figured out how to do it.
I exported the rosters to Excel and then increased everyone's salaries by 10%. That then restored the existing contracts that what they were before the financial coefficient was reduced from 1.100 to 1.000. |
