Longest Running Leagues?

What is the longest running online league? I haven't looked around a lot, but the longest running league I have seen has been something like 7 or 8 seasons. Anyone have links to other leagues that have been around longer?

I know the CDL is getting ready to start 1984 on Wednesday, which will be our 16th season.

I think the GDBA might be a season or two ahead of the CDL.

My beloved GGOOTP is starting our fourth season of pure fun.

Not quite up to some, but good enough for me.

The NOBL, started in 1995, is in it's eighteenth season of 3 games per day, six days per week simming. The first fifteen were done using Front Page Sports '94 and '98. We then switched over to OOTP4 using Jess Kiddin's great FPS to OOTP converter. We are in our third season of OOTP4 and looking forward to several more. Ok, so there is no converter (Jess Kiddin?), and we had to start over with new players for OOTP4, but wouldn't it have been great.....

While the AFBL is currently only running its 7th season, I just realized that we recently passed the magic "one year mark" in real time.

We're getting there...

The MLB Century is well into its 22nd season (1926). Started with OOTP2 in the 1905 season.

Now that is impressive. Leagues that sim 15 days or a month per sim can blow through the seasons pretty quickly but a league that sticks around for a lengthy period in real time is far more noteworthy.

And then there was the Middle-Earth Baseball League. They've been around 111 seasons. Teams include the Hobbiton Hilltoppers, the Gondor Condors, the Mirkwood Wood Elves, and the Barad-Dur Dark Lords.

The UKBL is in it's 8th season. We have been simming 3 times a week for since February 2001 and still have 12 of the original owners.

The CWBL was started in late 1997 (real time) and played 16 seasons with Strat-o-matic baseball. Almost a year ago we moved over to OOTP4 and are now using OOTP5. We have completed 3 seasons with this sim. So we are about to enter our 20th season of CWBL baseball. Unfortunately when we switched programs we were unable to switch the players over and therefore started with new players, but every draft we bring back some of the old guys as young studs.

AVW FBBL has been going for 2 years real-time... and we're in the middle of our 6th season.

We've been a staple since I bought OOTP 3... but compared to a lot of leagues I see, we take a more relaxed approach to simming, I guess.

I've been in some leagues that have 3-4 sims a week. We have one.
