Question about ticket prices/financials

I have a question regarding the effect that raising the average team ticket price in the financials screen will have on my league. I am doing a fictional league and no matter what I do, all my teams have negative projected balances, which prevents them from doing many trades. I have tried upping the national and local media contracts, as well as the merchandise revenue. None of this seems to have any effect.

My next idea is to try and up the average team ticket price. Does anyone know if this will work? I am going to triple the price of the average ticket. When I do this and hit the refresh button to get the project profits..it says every team should make a ton of money...but will this actually allow my teams to have positive projected balances? If I do this and then go to my team and raise the ticket prices accordingly, will my attendance suffer dramatically? Any experts on ticket prices out there?

Tripling your ticket price is not a good idea. Fans will get pissed and stop coming to the park.

You can raise it up some, but you should also bump up fan loyalty and interest if you want more fans coming to the game.

Tickets are a great way to increase revenue, but don't abuse it or your fans will leave you.

I understand that if I triple my team's ticket price that fans will revolt, but I am asking about going to the financials page under GAME SETUP and changing the average ticket price for the entire league. I want increased revenues and a positive projected balance for all my teams.

Changing the avg ticket price will work, but takes a while to take effect vs bumping them up yourself. So you will see a change, just more gradual.
