Looking for Reserve Clause 'switch' & Playoff Name Change screens

First off, I play the game mainly for the 'building a team' aspect. As such, my 'fun' is in the off season and I mainly sim the regular season (but play the playoffs if I make it)

I am playing 1940 and have now played 5 seasons. I use the 'use rookies from any season' switch. It is fun to see Pud Galvin (who is rated a MR despite having never relieved a game in his life....what's up with that?) and Steve Carlton on the same team.

However, I have created NO Free Agents. I was told in another thread I need to 'turn off' the Reserve Clause so that I can negotiate extensions, etc.

Where do I find this? I remember seeing it, but can't find it. I do a search on the Help file and I get a 'no results found' message. The Help file in this game really sucks....lol.

Second question. I have a 60s league going, also. When I get to the playoffs, they are named "Round 1" & "Round 2". How do I change it to LCS and World Series? Somehow, I changed it to World Series for my 40s league, but it beats the heck outta me where I changed that.

For both of these issues, I have looked in all the "Tools", "Preferences" and "Functions". I can't find them. I have tried right clicking, etc.

Btw, if you tell me, PLEASE, PLEASE give me the 'Path'. Just telling me to change something doesn't help. I need to know where.

To enable/disable the reserve clause rules, go to league setup -> financials and there should be a sub-header that is called "Financial and Free Agency settings". Under it will be a checkmark that says "Enable Reserve-Clause Era Rules". Uncheck that.

To rename the playoffs, go to league setup -> options and there should be a "playoff options" sub-header. If you customized your playoffs, then you will have to click "Customize Playoffs".
