anger management
The game already has built in players & draftees getting upset with contract proposals and ending negotiations, rookies go back to college and potential free agents decide to "test the waters." What if this carried over to free agency and they refused to have any dealings with you.
I'd love to be able to send insulting comments to AI managers for the frequently lop-sided trade suggestions they offer, which could obviously impact further dealings with that team. Great fun!

Regarding FAs: Going forward into 12, 13, 14 you will see that it can and does get to the point where the player will refuse to deal with you any longer. Easiest way to intentionally insult one is to offer them a minor league deal with a team option or two.
GMs: You can certainly offer insulting trades back, but I'm not sure if it does or does not affect their willingness to deal with you in the future. I know such a mechanism exists in other games both for immersion and to discourage you from trying to fleece the AI. That would be something worth exploring for 15. |

Even 11 allows you diss a free agent with joke offers. But I've had angry bench players who've refused to negoiate an extension because they expect to be starters and went free agent, then re-signed with me and were delighted to be part of my organization.
I love sending severely lopsided trades to GMS and see their "angry" response but it doesn't seem to last past that trade offer. Lots of fun though.
