Free agent-minor league, signing bonus is stuck?

I'm trying to sign a player named Adam Woods. He's asking for a minor league deal with a bonus. "Meet Demand" does nothing, as does "Ask for Response". The "Submit Offer" button stays greyed out.

Has anyone come across this issue before? Is it a bug?

It is a text problem; he really wants a major league contract, not a minor league contract. The text message is wrong.

No, when I change the contract offer to a Major League contract, there's no option for a signing bonus. Only if it's a minor league contract is there a bonus offer option. The minor league with major league option offer also doesn't work, it's just stuck.

And I appreciate it, brother. It's just weird, because I've never seen a player not want the contract I'm offering when I try to meet his demand.

I just came here to post about this.
Seems it is a text error as I have seen them say "I am a major leaguer..."
Once I switch to a major contract I can push through. Problem is, once I change it to major, it wont let me change it back to minor. He isn't worth a major league contract, but he is slightly above average depth.

May not be exactly what you are experiencing here but....There is an issue that I believe has been reported as a bug where a player will ask for a Minor League Contract with X bonus but he will reject it saying he is a major league player or that he doesn't want a minor league contract and then he say he wants a Minor League Contract with X bonus.

So there is an issue with the Minor League Contract with a bonus.

A quick workaround would be to give him the major league contract (if you can), then, after he signs it, go into Commish mode and edit it back to a minor league deal.

And... Now, he's gone. Gone from the game. I did a player search by name and he's now where to be found. Too bad too. He had decent ratings.
