In one of the trades the Cubs made they received slot $$? (or moved up) along with players in return. Would OOTP benefit by including this in 15 and can I get someone (paging LGO) to explain this to me better.

It's simple. Teams are allowed to trade international bonus money. The catch is, a team cannot trade/receive in a trade bonus money when they have no money left in their pool. I don't know if/how it could be implemented in OOTP, though.

To implement it in OOTP a bonus pool with spending caps would have to be created in OOTP to mirror what's in real life.

Currently OOTP doesn't have nearly as draconian spending caps as rl, so there's no point in allowing the trading of pool money unless the entire system was overhauled.
