Raise Minimum IP to Qualify
I'm running a blended league of modifiers where starters usually go 8-9 innings a game but relievers are also racking up innings. The problem is that every year the top ERA leaders are always relievers, whose ERAs are under 2.00
Is there a way to increase the minimum IP (and other stats for that matter) to qualify for these things? |

Mouse, I am reasonably sure that this is hard-coded and depends upon league setup; i.e., number of games scheduled, normal SP rotation, etc. For example, in my league, a pitcher needs 162 innings to qualify for the ERA title. You got relievers pitching 162 innings or more in your league? Or is your setup vastly different?

I'm using a four man rotation, three men bullpen. Pitcher stamina is set to high or very high. It's roughly based on 1951 league modifiers, but I've changed some things and I'm not sure what I've changed. I also play a 168 game schedule, although I believe I've run into this problem with a 162 game schedule too.
Thinking more about it I don't think I mind if a reliever qualifies for an ERA title. Might as well give them some recognition, especially if they are pitching 150+ innings. Still, it'd be nice if I could find the option if it exists. |

I believe to qualify for an ERA title now you have to have one IP for each game your team appeared in during the season. So its 162 in MLB and would be 168 in your league. For the batting championship its 3.1 plate appearances per game played (I think). Roughly 502 PA in MLB and 520 in your league.

It's worth noting too that in the past MLB used different thresholds. It used to be at one time, for example, 400 AB in a season for hitters and 10 complete games in a season for pitchers, to qualify as a league leader. |
