Adding Teams

So I added two expansion teams to my game and I noticed for their minor league teams they don't have a city as the name its just "Team (nickname)". I even did the "randomize city names" but it still keeps the minor league teams for those two major league clubs as "Team X"

Is this a bug or is it just that they ran out of cities to use?

There is a limit on the names but how many leagues do you have going with how many total teams?

28 team league. Each major league team has a aaa, AA, two single a teams, short season and rookie ball. So 6 minor league teams per major league club.

Strange because the database from what I read has over 2000 name, you should have not run out of names this soon

Did you try manually changing them?

You don't have too many teams, that's for sure. Seen much bigger leagues than that without the problem.

I will likely just go through and manually edit the team names. Just weird because when I generate new city names it does it for all the other teams, but not for these two specific franchises.

Could this have happened because I had to re-install OOTP on my MacBook and I had already started a fictional game and then put it back into the saved games folder after re-installing?

So I restarted my game from the beginning and it's still doing the same thing when I get to the 28 team expansion thing. It won't let me randomize team cities.

I think it has to do with the regions I use. I then tried the "no specific region" and they would all change when I selected "randomize city names" option.
