What's the story with the Positional Strength Report?

I understand if the game needs to take a minute or two compiling things the first time I open the report, but shouldn't it be stored in some sort of cache or something? Whenever I click through to a player's details from the report, and want to back up to read through to the next interesting player, it needs to re-compile itself, taking another two minutes or so to finish up.

My computer's no slouch, so I don't think that's the issue. Is this the way the it's supposed to work?

Not seeing this - when I click I get an instant response - no delay going back or forward.

It works like this for me as well, and is the reason I never look at that screen. My computer is definitely not the problem, either.

Are you looking at the League or Team Report? Or is it happening with both?

I believe the league one. It's the one when you click league menu at the top and then "Positional Strength Report".

Ok, this is weird. When I go to that page using the menu you use, I get the same as you - it recompiles. Only takes about 2 secs, but it does do it.

If I have the Reports Home page open, and click on the Pos. Strength/Teams link in menu on right hand side (see image) it compiles the first time I click but never again. I can go back and forth from player to player without hesitation.

Seems odd it would do it from one menu link but not another.

yep, I've seen the same thing ever since I've gotten 14. I'm on a MacBook Pro and it takes a good 90 seconds to 3 mins to open. Its so frustrating that I don't even click on a player report anymore.

I just timed it and for...

Pos. Strength/Teams:
1st time - 2:14
2nd time - 2:19

Pos. Strength/Pos:
1st time - 2:24
2nd time - 2:27

something definitely weird/slow with the "compiling report" process on this.

Actually, it'd been reported last version or even the one before. Apparently, it's WAD.

i know in 13 it was slow, but not that slow. it's not a high priority fix for me as I just need to look at that screen once or twice a season. I would much rather see other things added/fixed over that TBH.

Then I am not impressed with the design.

I've noticed the same thing. That report really seems to drag, and re-compiles every time I access it.

This also happens for me when accessing the career and single season leaderboards in the league history, I can use the back arrow fine, but if I click on the "Leaderboard" link again it recompiles.

I will resubmit the observation and request.

Edit:
Well, turns out I already had resubmitted it for this version, just have not received a response.

The really frustrating thing is, when you click on a player to look at his profile, then return, the report recompiles AGAIN!
