changes to injury progression

A few things that might be more realistic for injuries.

-Gradual progression of injuries. As in, a day-to-day injury might go from 10% ratings it to 20% if you keep playing on it. And a player who is listed as "out" might gradually transition back into a day-to-day injury ratings hit that gradually peels off back to 0%, so you could start playing the player again before he is totally recovered.
-Allowing players to go on rehab assignments when they are nearing the end of their injured period, rather than after they are no longer injured.
-Increasing the frequency of day-to-day injuries. I can't say that I've collected any data on this, but while injuries knocking players out altogether seem to be the right frequency, it seems like less serious day-to-day injuries are not nearly as frequent as real life. Now, I can imagine that modeling this might be more trouble than it's worth, given that perhaps half the players on an MLB roster are dealing with some nagging injury or other at any given time, but who knows, it might make for some interesting roster decisions.

This I think is fine, as is (acknowledging my really liking your previous thought). I just look on the the end of the injury time as the first time a player can go to a rehab assignment. The actual date of when a player is healthy enough to go to rehab isn't given to the user, until you get to a matter of days left. 2-3 months...is it 8 weeks? 10 weeks? 12 weeks? You don't know until you know.

Incorporating this suggestion with your previous one and saying "Ok, you can send your player to rehab a week early in a DTD status and get his rust shaken off a week sooner, but you run the risk of reinjuring him the same way as if you play a DTD player" would be cool.

I am playing a league with injuries set at "Very High". You get plenty of DTD injuries on that setting.
