Shop player to more than one team?

I know you can shop a player to more than one team, but in doing so, does it help raise that player's trade value?

When yoiu shop a player, he's shopped to all other MLB clubs. It doesn't affect his trade value but does give you some indication of general interest in him.

Ok, somehow I knew that. It must have slipped my mind.

I guess the larger question is if there's a way to increase the demand for one of your players by playing one GM off another?

I don't think there is, but that would be a nice feature to explore for future versions. Some kind of enhanced trade negotiation AI. I bet that's a pretty big lift, though.
