Not Sure About Specific Setting
So I am playing a fictional game and was noticing that despite the players individual ratings, their Overall Rating wasn't as high as it would appear it should be. So I went into the league settings and checked the "Overall rating based on all players, not positions" box and noticed how it raised their overall ratings to better suit them.
Can someone tell me if it's a good idea to leave that box unchecked or to check it? I have never really experienced with that. Will I get different results when I sim? |

Of course you'll get a variety of opinion, but in my case I always check the position box as I want to compare SS to SS across the league, not how that SS measures up against all players. Do you use scouting? Another method of tweaking the overall ratings to the feel you prefer is to adjust the EVAL settings and click Apply Now until you see what it is you prefer to see. It's all subjective.
Here's been my long-standing question, to which I have yet to receive an answer: The checkboxes actually allow three options. Position, All Players, and None checked. What does None checked actually represent?
