Quick Start includes patched work?

If I have a quickstart saved (because of the vast work I put in to my world with logos and feeder league's and such) if I downloaded the patch (#2) would it coincide with my quickstarts?

What I mean simply is: Would my quickstart games benefit from the re-done feeder league player creation and such? Would it be included or do I need to start a new game for the effects to take place.
