Player Won't Sign?

This is an international free agent at the start of the off-season. I am offering him exactly what he is demanding and keeps giving me the same response. I even offered him more and I got the same response. Don't get what's happening as I have the money to sign him and am offering him what he wants.

I have had that as well. You'll have to switch it to a major league contract to sign him. If he isn't worth that, then don't bother.

I posted about it a while back in the bug thread and sent in league files so hopefully Markus and Co can find it and squash it, but, the more the better I say. Post your league files over there and help them find it, because it kinda is a big bug not being able to sign a player to terms that are equal to his demands.

I'd like the MLD w/ signing bonus to either be dropped altogether or show up differently than a normal MLD under the Demand column when sorting free agents

You know what, I am going to bet that the logic is good here but the text is bad. The player actually wants a MAJOR league contract, which is why he will accept one when offered. The text has him saying he wants a MINOR league contract but he doesn't. Seems like a very simple solution but I am betting that is what is going on here.
