Crash while loading

I am no longer able to load my league in OOTP. When I click load it goes through then the game crashes when it says "Checking Database". This league is 34 years in and I really dont want to lose it but I dont know why its crashing. I didnt do anything special the last time playing it.

Anyone got suggestions as I really want to play my league.

Try restoring your last back-up.

Well thats the option Id like to avoid as it was before I imported to OOTP14
