Putting saved games online ..
Hi - I've got two computers, side by side, both running licensed versions of OOTP14.
I want to be able to play the same game on both computers (i.e., when I can't play on one because it's in use, I can play on the other). My idea is to put my saved game online somewhere (e.g a public folder on dropbox) so that I can access it no matter which computer I use. I'm just wondering if that a) will work b) is in any ways an intelligent way to do it. any input is appreciated! |

What about putting the files on an external hard drive? You'd have to move the hard drive back and forth between computers, but at least you wouldn't be at the mercy of an internet connection.

The dropbox solution will work, but it'll take some time depending on your internet connection speed.
Other ideas: USB Drive (swap between computers as need) External Hard Drive (same) Networked Hard Drive (for example Western Digital MyBook Live) Keep the files on one computer but network them and pull them from the other computer (the computer with the files will obviously have to be on whenever you need them). |

I haven't done it yet, but the flash drive thing will probably be my choice.
