Great new feature

The ability to set bullpen size league wide may be one of the best new features ever. This for me is such a game changer. To make it even better Markus put the ability to choose the number of position players right there too. Gone are the days forever of playing deadball and being forced to look at teams with 19 position players on the active roster. I used to get so frustrated when attempting to set roster sizes using past versions. Since pitching staff size was completely dependent on pitching stamina and use of relievers, often times we were handcuffed in the changes we could make and still stay true to the period being simmed. Now I can play deadball and have a 21 man roster consisting of 6 pitchers and 15 position players. That was impossible in the past.
This feature is also great for DH leagues. Now I can set stamina to normal, use of closers to rarely and use of relievers to normal and still have 5 men in the pen. In the past, those settings would result in 4 man bullpens when using the DH.

Oh and the ability for starters to pitch in relief is also an incredible feature.

There was a nearly identical thread started by Old Fat Guy a couple of pages back - this feature clearly has made an impression!

I believe a bug still exists with this feature, so heads up. When I advance to the next season (not sure if it happens at the end of a season or when preseason begins) the numbers reset to default.

Probably not a bug, but a byproduct of checking the box to import strategy settings each year.....

Meant to add that. It's not. I don't have any of the "update x each year" options checked. I've already reported it, but it didn't get fixed for this latest patch.

One thing I'm thinking is, when I made the league, I had it set to default settings. Only when the game was in progress did I set my rookie league to have a 6-man rotation and x number of hitters/pitchers. But without fail, every new season, they reset to the default without any of those checkboxes clicked on.
