Game is frozen, any way to save?

I just got an achievement for making it to the World Series, and my game locked up immediately. I already reported the bug; is there any way that I can save the game before I have to force close? I would hate to lose all of my progress, especially considering I played through every game manually.

I can move the window around, but I can't click on anything in it.

Ok, that was very strange, but I was able to find a way to close and save successfully. I tried closing the window and then kept hitting combinations of TAB + Enter (and other keys) until finally it went through and did the close/save combo together. Not sure if that explanation is very helpful, but I feel very relieved to have not lost my last several games.

Now I just hope I don't encounter it again if I *win* the World Series.

There were earlier reports 14 freezing up -- but then unfreezing many minutes later, so patience has been advised. Sounds like your experience validates those reports. Glad your experience had a happy (so far) ending.
