Uniform and logo problem with created league. (template)

I created a league made up of 17-21 year olds, 2 divisions/8 teams each.

I saved it as a template and then started a new Major League game with current rosters. I then imported my league from the template I had created.

Now, when I go view the players in the MLB created league, the pictures and unis are fine but when I view my players in my created league, they are simply heads.
There are no colors or uniforms created at all. Just what you see below.

I messed around with the 'edit colors & uniforms' page but no matter what I did, I just ended up with garbage (and I would have to do this with every team). I could get the unis if I changed all of the colors but it was a mess (no hats, logos stuck on head, etc) and like I said, I'd have to do it with every team and it didn't work for all players.

Now my obvious question, is there a quick way to regenerate the uniforms ? I went to the league setup and there are plenty of options for the faces under Player and Picture Options. I did see the options for uniform textures but that just makes the game crash.

IIRC, a template does not save things like logos and uniforms. You need to make sure that the images that you used are in the game's basic Ballcaps, Jerseys, and Logos folders. Then try running Team Picture Functions and Player Picture Functions in that order:

I never used any images other than what I thought would have been generated.

Can I download images and throw them in a folder? Or unis?

Yes, from OOTPmods.com. Also, see the online manual for instructions how to do it.

On second thought, try just hitting those update buttons that I showed you. If you never generated pics, or left them behind, the game should come up with fictional replacements, at least.

I tried that last night and when I tried resetting the textures, the game crashes.

I'll try downloading some.

Also, if starting over is easier, I can do that but I think I'll end up in the same place.

I haven't played any games and it just takes a minute to add the template to a new game.

Okay, so I started over.

Here are the steps.

Created a new MLB game with '13 rosters.

Imported the 17-21 yr old league I created previously.

There are no players in the league at this point, just teams.

I went into the picture options and selected pictures for all players and create pictures upon player creation.

I released all players and scheduled a fantasy draft , not sure if there is a way to do a draft without releasing players that don't exist , but anyway....

I simmed the draft and the game spent about 10 minutes creating players and pictures.

After all of that, the players still only have heads. No jerseys or anything.

Is it my fault for assuming that since I did a fantasy draft and created new players, that new logos and jerseys would be created for the teams that already existed?

I crack myself up though because I'll spend hours trying to do this in order to avoid having to download jerseys and do that work LOL

EDIT: I'm trying what was suggested (again) about resetting pictures. It didn't crash this time so I'm going to see if it generates all of the uni's.

And if you wonder why I don't create the Major league and THEN add a fictional league from the wizard.

This is why, the countries and regions are all jacked up. I can't select US and Michigan. It changes the nation.

Just so nobody wastes their time trying to help.

I created my college league again, did the draft and saved as a template.

I created a new MLB game and imported the template and it worked this time.

So, I'm good now, I think. I'm sure why it didn't work the first two times but I'm sure its something I did, usually is.
