I'm trying to create a worldwide league with lots of countries involved. I was testing out a setup and I only have the US/Mexico/Canada created currently. Teams are not allowed foreigners on their team so Canadian teams will only have Canadians and so forth.
Here is the problem. I'm not getting enough players created. I have 9 Canadian teams and only 116 players. Part of this is from a feeder league, but it hasn't seemed to help. Do I need to create a massive number of feeder teams for the countries with lower populations or is there another way to do this. I have fictional players turned on and I don't want to use minor leagues. |

Set the league to be based in some nation that won't have any teams in your league and set the foreigner percentage to 100%. You should get even distribution with a good amount of players for your countries relative to their baseball quality. But with 9 Canadian teams, that might be too much to ask for unless you have a deep draft to create a lot of prospects.
Given that OOTP 14's changes revolve primarily around changing player creation (including player creation percentages for specific countries) it would be worth it to upgrade to the newest version if you're really itching to play a league this way. |
