SP going too long...
This may have already been addressed and if so I'm sorry. I've noticed that SP are going a lot further into games than you would expect. Two of the top three performances of the day on a day I just simmed went to Verlander and Kuroda. Verlander went 11 IP of shutout ball while Kuroda did the same in 10 IP.
I normally watch my games play out, but let my manager handle subs and all of that. I've noticed my SP staying in past 7 innings even though he's given up five or so runs, but he's not tired since he's only pitched 80 or so pitches. I checked some of the game options and "Use of Relievers" is set to very often and "Pitcher Stamina" is low. I haven't touched it since I installed OOTP14. This just seems off to me. I don't recall OOTP13 keeping pitchers in when getting in trouble as often and I don't recall SP pitching into the 11th ever. |

lower the starter stamina modifier a little. I generally go with .950 myself.

the pitch counts are what is important, not the innings.....how many pitches did Verlander throw for 11 innings?.....
