Viewing info on my iPad

I would like to ponder some decisions about rosters at times when I am away from my computer.

Does anyone have any opinions (or experiences) of the best way to go about this?

I am thinking of exported HTML, CSV, or screen shots. Is there a better way?

Is creating an almanac going to show ratings and scouting reports or only stats?

Is there inherent PDF creation of reports? I thought I had read that but haven't found it.

And yes I have iOOTP. However this is for regular OOTP.

Thanks

Have you tried TeamViewer for the iPad? I've used it on my PC, but haven't tried it on my ipad yet. Maybe if you lowered your PC's resolution enough while you were connected, it would be viewable that way?

Good idea. I am still holding out for something I can use by transferring files to my iPad as I only have wifi an want to look over things at lunch and while carpooling

However that will work for reading in bed.

Have you tried iExplorer HD for transferring files? It's not free and may cost too much for what you want, but might be worth checking into. If you find something better, I'd be interested to hear about it.

Thanks again!

I can use Dropbox for moving the files. It is free and literally drag and drop. I highly recommend it.

I am wondering more about what to transfer. Should I create custom reports? Is there a good scouting report that can be exported? Or will it be just as efficient to capture screenshots?

You could create the league reports like the online leagues do. See Game options/Online league options/Create reports. Create all the reports and then copy the /news/html folder to a web server (but that's not easy and may be a huge task because it can be a LOT of data depending on the settings in the "create report dialog").

THANKS!

I think that might be exactly what I was looking for. I never would have thought of looking in the 'Online League' functions.

By the way, does changing my league's online status affect how it will play?

You don't need to enable "online league mode" to create the reports!
