Signing bonus demand

So in the past few drafts I have noticed something...

I get guys who demand a signing bonus that is not even close to the slot.

Which is fine I guess, except that he is listed as having 'extremely hard' signability...

So this guy is saying it will be very hard for me to sign him, that I must meet his demands or he wont sign, and he then demands a bonus 30k under the slot.......

after getting drafted in the 1st round.

This doesn't seem to make too much sense to me. The guy should at the very least be demanding the slot, and he was listed as being a slot guy in the draft pool too.

Please post this in the bug reports forum, along with a link to your league files please. Then I can have a look.

Just offer slot and he should sign.

Alright, posted it in the bug thread.

And yeah, I can get them to sign. I offer them their low ball demands and they will sign it gladly, but it just seems this should not be the case, I am getting away with saving quite a bit of cash here. Granted I am the best team in the league by far, dynastic in how long I have dominated and developed home grown talent, so I guess I can explain it away in that players want to be drafted and play in my minor league system....but still, I suspect something is amiss.
