Lineups changing

How do I stop the AI from changing my lineups. I have the lineups set exactly the way I want them. I have checked the box next to Prevent any AI roster changes. Every time I start a game, the lineup is completely different from what I set. Consequently, I can never just sim a week or even a day. I HAVE to do it manually or my lineup is changed.

Do you have 7-Day line ups selected? They trump the depth chart screen.

Also, if you checked "Act as GM only" when setting up your manager, the game defaults to give the AI manager control of lineups/pitching staff/etc., so it'll change often. I didn't catch this until a month or so had gone by in my Astros game.

No, but I will definitely try that. I just tend to enjoy micromanaging a bit. Thanks for the advice!

I just checked to verify that I did not. I do have Commissioner Mode checked though.
