Waivers still needs work

May 6th and the Phillies waive Delmon Young and his $750K salary...no way.

He is such a terrible player that I wouldn't be shocked at all, actually.

as a Phillies fan, I would prefer it if they would waive him now rather than waiting until May 6.

Yeah, gotta go with the majority here. It's a smart move. Which means it'll never actually happen. RAJ will likely sign him to a 6 year 80mil extension
Glad I'm not a Phillies fan

The only organization that has publicly stated that they ignore sabermetrics entirely.

And doing that turns into the Ryan Howard contract. Yuck.

What is wrong with this? Putting guys on waivers makes sense for a lot of reasons. A ton of players you don't even know about, big time players, are waived at one point or another during the season.

What was that one deal that people posted on OOTP to prove the real world 'AI' was broken? I wanna say it was the outright release of Russ Ortiz with stupid money on his contract.....

Let's show Amaro Jr. how it is done. Signing Delmon Young was the wrong move in the first place. The AI is just making up for that error.
