Int Amateur FA, scoutting findings and talent level

Hello all,

One of the key points, for me, regarding playing in really long saves (50+ years) is consistency of talent level and player origins through the years. Having too many or too little amount of talent coming in from the draft/amateur ranks is a serious problem and sometimes a difficult balance to reach.

Now, the addition of the International Amateur FA and more costumization of amateur scout findings changes that. Don't get me wrong, I think they're great and all. It's just another level to consider that wasn't there before.

So far, I have sticken with the default settings on the number of Int. Amateur and scout findings. If I raise any of those, or keep both instead of choosing one or the other, won't I end up with "too much talent" coming into the league? I mean, those are added on top of the draft talent, it may become too much.

In my save, currently with 5 major leagues and over 100 ML teams total, a total of 110 players were created in the Int. Amateur FA. Of those, 2 had potential over 60 (20-80, 100% accuracy), and 2 beetwen 40 and 60, the rest beeing 25 or below (mostly borderline AAAA players at best). Is this stable? How is this calculated? If I increase the amount of amateur FA created, will there be more top talent, proportionaly?

The default value for a 24-team league is 7 players found by the scout per team. I suppose that's an average, either way tottaling 168 players of varying talent. What is the distribution of this talent? Similar to the draft? Should I stick with both, or have either one or another?

Also, in my leagues I set the created players age to be beetwen 18 and 20, for the draft. This seems to affect the international amateurs aswell, as they're all 18 or 19, when I was expecting a lot of 16 year-olds.

Another point (last one, I promise!) is: will the international bonus pool be editable in future patches? I believe the current total is based on real life, wich is great, by costumization would be nice.

Thanks!

Can't help with the rest, but Markus responded to me in another thread by saying that he had meant to implement the customization of the bonus pool/cap in the initial release. It will be in a patch, but I'm not certain which one.

Will that include variable bonus pools based on winning percentage? (ie. the worse the team was the previous year, the higher the bonus pool)
