Championship Trophy

Ok, i know there is a way to do it but i cant find it for the life of me...where do i go to change the picture of that hideous world series trophy???? Thanks in advance!

In the game's skin folder. Open the skin folder you're using and in the images folder is where the tropy pic goes.
Then you need to rename the skin.bin to old skin.bin.
Restart the game. It'll rebuild the skin and the new tropy pic should show.

ok i have no clue where the skin folder is located....i looked gfor it but i cant seem to locate it

I don't do default installs, but if you did it should be somewhere in your documents folder in the ootpdevelopments folder.
Widows search for skins on your c drive should find it for you.

well i looked in my documents and i cant find a 'skins' folder anywhere...i even searched for it. i looked in program files in the 'out of the park developments' folder and there are skin folders in there but there is no images folder in there..

Did you look in Program Files>OOTP Baseball XX>data>skins>ootp classic>images?

yeah i founds a skins folder there but there is no images folder...there is only two files in each skin folder...default.cfg and a files called 'skin'...

Open your game.

Go to Add-ons Central.

Download the 3 OOTP Skins

Install the 3 OOTP Skins

Exit OOTP

Go to your skins folder. You will see a folder for each skin. Look in there.

related to this, has anyone had a problem with the championship background image not showing? My file (posted above) is PNG with erased background but for some reason the championship screen just shows with a white background instead of the file in the skin folder.

I'm assuming we just save the picture of the trophy in the posts above as "trophy" in the skins folders, right? Essentially we just overwrite the one that's currently there.

You've got the procedure correct almost. Replace the trophy.png with your new one in the skin your using\images folder and then rename the skin.bin to old skin.bin. Restart the game and the skin will be rebuilt and you'll have your new trophy pic. but that image above won't work as it's a jpg and the trophy image needs to be a png image or it won't show.
