Is there a way.... One Game two pcs
First WOW great clean game.....
Ok now I just started my 2013 season and I am already 15 games in on my laptop while watching tv...... Problem is I want to go out to my Man Cave later and play on the home pc. Is there an easy way to share the files or is it not possible? Matt |

Is there a way to sync a folder on both pcs? So I do not have to copy it manually each time? |

Not within OOTP, but I am sure there are outside programs that can do that....though I have no firsthand knowledge of what to use, not needing the service ever.....

If you network the 2 computers (I know windows 7 has this feature), make sure that the OOTP default folder(s) is shared and you should have access to the same files provided it is installed on both

Yes, it's possible, though I don't think there's any easy way to do it.
There's stuff like dropbox (http://www.dropbox.com), but this sync by uploading the files to their server, which will probably take a long time unless you've got a very fast internet connection. Then there's stuff like rsync, which can sync files between computers on your network, but it's not exactly user-friendly. If your computers are both on the same network, it might be easier to just keep your OOTP data directory on one computer and then access it from the other over the Windows Network or equivalent. You'll have to have both on at the same time though. |

You can also put your save game folder on an external hard drive. Then just move the drive to whichever computer you want to play on. Just make sure you set the drive letter and saved game path the same on both computers.

Sugarsync is another good one. Not really any super easy way. Probably just as easy to network the pcs together or use a thumb drive to transfer
