Team Color Codes
I notice each team has it's color code displayed on the jersey files...Is there a way to ge the game to automatically read this without going in and changing to the exact colors manually.

The colors specified in the logo file will dictate the team color and team text color

Can colors for team/text be appended to jerseys instead of logo? There was some discussion about that option. Did that make it in for this release?

Think I answered my own question. Gave it a try (appending colors to jersey) and it didn't work. Perhaps in the future.

The color codes on the jerseys were originally for my own personal benefit. When I initially started making caps and jerseys, I wrote down the color codes used for each team on paper. But when I needed to revisit them, I had reams and reams of hastily written notes that I had to try and decipher. So I decided put them in the file itself. It made it much easier to keep track of the color used.
![]() For the all-in-one, the color codes have been added to the logo name so that they are loaded up automatically. One of the challenges is trying to make a unique color combination for each team so that on the in-game screen, you can easily distinguish between defensive players and base runners/batters. But, at the same time, you need to have colors that also provide a nice contrast so that the text is clear and legible on the team pages. Trying to balance that can be a challenge and can always be improved.

I like to use gray or white for the team colors and use the main color for the team text. That way on the field the player name boxes will match the home white and the road gray. (Might be really cool for those who do not play with the player images on in-game.) Anyway, I create two identical logos for each team, one for home and one for away and attach the colors to the logo and switch the logos out based on the home/away match-ups. Attaching the color codes to the jerseys would have automated that process for me and eliminated the need to switch out the logos. Here's a sample of what it looks like in-game...

Hi reds1,
Are your Flickr and Photobucket files zipped anywhere? I was looking to add your great backgrounds to my game. Thanks. JP
