Who's Controlling What?

The AI seems to not want to respect the choices I am making. A few issues in my current season as head of the Flyers:

I have my manager options set to have the AI handle lineups and tactics. I keep trying to set it to also handle training, but that keeps reverting to my control.
When I WAS in control of the lineups and tactics, the AI would still play whatever goaltender it chose.
I just traded Brayden Coburn to MIN for Josh Harding (trade offered by the AI) with the intention of dumping Bryzgalov for a bag of pucks (which would have a better save pct. and more wins), but upon accepting the trade, the AI waives Steve Mason on my behalf?!?! WTF? Now, I have to pray he clears waivers.

So, I traded away Bryz and Mason gets promotoed back to my roster, along with a 19 year old prospect I had sent down to the AHL since the AI refused to play him on my roster after scoring 18 points in 31 games with Ottawa.

Yeah, there is definitely issues with game management by AI, that is for sure. I especially hate, in the playoffs, when I'm controlling lineups, and it randomly decides to play the backup in the 3rd round game 7 and you lose because of it.

That reminds me of something else. There should be a "save as" feature, so you can revert to an older save game should something like that occur.

Bump ... minor bug where setting your coach to handle training, it keeps reverting back to human controlled. Somewhat annoying since at the moment I want to test the long term effects of your coach handling this aspect of the game on player developement.
