MVP NCAA Baseball '06 Ballpark Creator?!!

Does anybody still have and play this game?

I didn't realize... it has a CREATE-A-BALLPARK feature!!!!

Check this out:

Baseball America - MVP? 06 NCAA® Baseball

Scroll down to the create ballpark video.

If someone who still has an old Playstation 2 can get this game running, you could basically input ballpark dimensions from OOTP into the create-a-ballpark feature, screen capture a jpg, and voila: instant endless ballpark back drops!!! Like THESE!!!!

HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?!!!!

As for me, I'm going to see if I can get a PS2 emulator running on my PC and get a .rom of the game

Yup, I'm downloading them now... May be difficult to get it to work though...

But if we could, imagine being able to make high quality custom ballparks to order!

FYI, for anyone with a PC who is interested in trying this (along with me)

Here is a link to a Playstation 2 emulator: PS2 Emulator

As far as the NCAA baseball 06 Rom, it's out there if you search for it.

Hopefully this will work. I wish "create-a-stadium" was a standalone app.

I know... the problem is I can't. Plus I'm running the game though a PS2 emulator so many of the graphics are garbled. So much for my great plan.

I wonder if the person who did the screen grabs for the original MVP 2005 would know how to get to the right camera angle? I should find and ask...

Just bumping this to see if there's any update... That ballpark creator demo that can be found in the link of the OP is pretty cool.

Well, the long and short of it is, it doesn't work very well. I have no idea how to get the right screen capture at the right angle in the right resolution.

The emulator can bump up the res, but certain graphics disappear. If I use a lower res, the screen shots look like this. If there is someone who knows how to use NCAA 06, feel free to help...

That's a bummer because that stadium creator demo video looks really cool.

That was me, and it involved using the PC version and tweaking some text files to move one of the pre-set cameras.

Of course, that was 2 computers ago and I didn't save the appropriate text files, either.

Ah... well the major bummer is there was no PC version of MVP 06. So, no hires photos, no text files to tweak. indeed.

On the bright side, MLB 2K gave us more fictional parks to use in the new version.

BTW, did you make the Indy league jerseys? Awesome job if so! I use them in my indy league!
