Double Plays

Twice in one game I had man on 3rd who didn't score on a 6-4-3 and 1-4-3 DP. That seems a little unusual once, let alone twice?

Man on 1st. Hitter puts one into the gap, runner is going home. SS cuts off the throw and shoots it to 3B.

The CATCHER applies the tag at 3B.

Yep, these things happen in iootp. The catcher making the tag at 3b will show up a number of times a season. Small glitch in pbp. I wonder who the put out is credited to in stats.
The not -scoring from 3b on DP really drives you nuts when a 20/20 speed/base runner is on 3b, ninth inning, need one run to tie or win, no outs, DP and he's still on 3b. Daydreaming, tieing his shoes?
Still the greatest game though! 5 stars.
