Changing expectations (pitchers)

Was looking at a 28 yo pitcher in my league who, in his four major league seasons, has started 33, 31, 34 and 29 (through early sept) and has made no relief appearances. He has a stamina of 4 and has 4 pitches. Wins-15, 11, 13, 13 (so far) with ERA under or around 3 each season. Yet his current expectation is "bullpen." He may have started his career that way but with the stats he has put up over the past 4 yrs, I find it hard to believe that he would be happy with a bullpen role.

Also, would be very helpful to change pitchers roles in the minors when they are moved in or out of the rotation. It's a pain to look at a team and see only 2 starting pitchers. If three relievers have been moved to the rotation, change their roles to starter. It used to be like this...not sure why it changed.

Not everyone is a diva.

Maybe he'll do whats needed for the team. I had players who's expectations where high despite not performing.

For me i don;t pay much attention to it. In 2 of my leagues i have Harold Baines. In both his expectation is bench. In 5 yrs in 1 league he is a 3 time AS. In the other he is closing in on 2900 hits and has 312 HR.
I just say they are humble and you can use them where you need them which is what i do with Baines.
