Mod Problems

Sorry for the naive/computer illiterate questions, but I'm having problems utilizing all of my downloaded mods. I've downloaded and installed all of the add-ons I'd like, but don't know how to go about enforcing them. I've read a few other posts on the forum but still can't get it right. I understand I must alter some game files, but am at a loss for the process. I've had no problems with the Quickstart downloads, but can't seem to get the logo/player picture mods to work properly. Again, sorry for the simpleton questions, but any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Did you start a new league after you installed the logos? If not that is your problem. You have to start a new league for the logos to show up.

Never any need to start a new game to add logo or photo mods. They can easily be added to your existing game in just a couple of simple steps. Here's the basics.
Photos:
There are 2 types.
1. Those that have the .jpg or .png extension. These are usually real player photos but not always. They go in the games Main Photos folder.
2. Those that have the .fg extension are Fictional pics and called Facegens. They go in the Game's fg_files folder.
To add any of these to an existing game, you need to go to your saved game's news\html\images\person_pictures (for real player pics) or profile_pictures for (facegen pics) and delete everything that doesn't start with default (there's only one or 2 of those).

Restart your game. If your using real player pics, click preferences on ootps main screen before you load your game and select the Facegen Tab. Set the last option to "search for photo first".
If you're using facegens, skip that step as it's already set for those. Load your game and the new pics will be created automatically and show in your game.

Logos:
They all go in the Game's main logos folder. To add those to an existing game. Go to your saved game's news\html\images\team_logos and league_logos folder and delete those. Restart your game and the new logos will be created automatically.
