Trying to run exapnsion draft

I'm wanting to run a historical sim as the 1998 Tampa Bay Rays, but every time I set it up it starts with the players they had already picked in the expansion draft. I want to draft my own players. How do I do this?

I figured it out, you have to start in the previous season and sim through to the expansion draft.
