Come Be a Player in the IBL!

Hi guys. I'm not sure if this is the right subforum for this (I put it in general as it doesn't really fit into the category of an online league).

I run a player-based sim league via the IBL 13 engine. Every player on every team represents a real forumer. We're just finishing our first season, with four inaugural original teams, complete with graphics and full rosters.

As of now, we are running 60-game seasons with a new sim almost every day. We're trying to expand to six teams, but, to do so, we need to expand our player base. With our draft happening in less than a month, we're in a crunch for prospects!

Ok, I signed up!

So what do I do now? How do I follow my player? Do the players have to download a league file? When you say "customize" my player do you mean customizing it like I did when I signed up, or something else?

The appealing part of this league seems to be that players really don't have to do much. We do have a save file, but players are by no means forced to download it - although they are more than welcome to.

Right now, you'll be assigned to one of our four prospect teams, where you'll play until the draft (est. 3 weeks away). We sim day by day and post the results in the "Game Results" subforum - generally, we post the box scores for the actual parent league's games, then post the scores of the prospect games and the actual stats once a week.

As playoffs are just beginning, look for your team's specific Gameday (IBLP Playoffs instead of IBL Playoffs) within the next week.

As for customizing your player, for now, the player description you gave will suffice, as your player will be built off a system of base points. When you are drafted, you'll be assigned a grade based on your forum activity, and that grade will correlate to a point pool that will allow you to fully customize your player in the offseason.
