Face Gen question

I seem to be running into a problem with the face generation. I downloaded the file for the historical face gen to go along with the spritze/gambo database but the faces are just the generic faces that come with the game. I then tried using the add on feature inside ootp and the same problem happened again. Any ideas?

Do you have your facegen files in your OOTP 13 fg_files folder?
Under Game -Prefences do you have it set to look for facegens 1st?
Is this an existing league? They should update after january 1st. There is a way to update it now but I am forgetting how. I know it's under League setup player & picture options.
Are they in an year by year folders in your fg-files folder or does it look like my ss?

Follow thegame's suggestions for installing and option.
If you're adding these to an existing game, then the easiest way to get them to show is to goto your saved game's news\html\images\profile_pictures folder(this folder contains all facegens after they've been converted to png) and delete those pics. Restart the game and the new facegens will be created.

When you create a new league what is happening? Adam Dunn's facegen doesn't show up? Does his photo show up (do you have those loaded also)?
Is it blank? I know for my some of my leagues I have it set for no fictional facegen, so if I have Adam Dunn or Albert Pujols. if the game doesn't find theirs there will be no fg showing.

You made sure that facegens are showing up under Preferences and player & picture Options?
