Newbie: Database help with Caught Stealing

Hello all, I am new to OOTP 13, I have been out of the OOTP loop for a few years.

I made an excel sheet with caught stealing stats for everyplayer from 1893 to 1950, filling in the players that needed them.

I went into the batting.csv file and filled them in, also with GIDP, and SO from 1893 to the early 1910's.

I think there another .csv file or two that has to be filled in, like the team .csv file, maybe another one also. In the team.csv file the early teams 1893-1913, 1916-1919, NL 1926 - 1950, all the team totals are filled in with NULL, so I filled them in with my calculations.

Anyway, after filling in all of this missing data, then starting a historical 1901 season, and importing all stats up to 1901, the caught stealing stats are all 0's, and the GIDP, and K's are all 0's, for each player listed in their past history stats. I don't understand.

I am trying to solve the problem players that have 50 stolen bases, and is caught 35 or 40 times, maybe more.

I thought this would help out the database, and smooth out the mass CS problem.

I will post my totals for players from 1893 to 1929 with 250 or more SB attempts, using their actual yearly SB's and my estimated yearly CS for each player.


My estimates are taken on league average, SB per AB, or SB / 1B+BB plus a few other factors.

My overall annual League SB% should be about 55%, if the CS could get imported. Players listed by most stolen bases, the far number on the right is Ranked by SB% Ty Cobb is ranked as 15th, Kiki Cuyler is 1st.

With all do respect to Kiki Cuyler, Ty Cobb had 4x more stolen bases, and almost 5x as many SB attempts SB+CS.
