Real Time Sim Users
Sorry if this has been brought up before (likely), wondering how those of you that manage games work Real Time Sim. I don't want to "miss" out on my game to manage if I walk away at any point.

Not sure what you mean. I play out my games and the real time runs in the background. I check in top of the 3rd, 5th and bottom of the 7th to see what the other teams are doing. I play one day at a time.

So long story short, try using 7-Day Lineups to set your lineup before starting the sim. Then when you go into the game, it'll already have the lineup in place that you chose earlier. |

With the 7-Day Lineups, just watch your pitching. For some reason for me, it doesn't insert the starting pitchers in the correct manner, so I have to make sure I set them, as well. |

I could be wrong, but I think RTS was created with the idea that it would allow us to do other things like explore free agents, look through rosters, look at draft pools, while our world's games are simulated, all while being able to keep an eye on the clock to know when our game is starting. I'm not sure Markus considered that people would start the sim and then walk away, so I think with that in mind, he might be willing to consider a function that stops the sim when the user's team is about to start its game.

Yeah understand that. Part of my (minor) issue is that when you go into your game to play it the lineup selection is already complete.
Just would prefer to start the game up like you do without running RTS.

That's a valid point, though. I'm sure you're not the only person who plays the game that way and would like to be able to set the lineup.

I felt the same way at first, even though I don't play out games. But then somewhere on the boards I learned that I could control the lineups through 7-Day Lineups and now I love the RTS feature.

I will try to adjust to the 7 day lineup thing since I love the feature. I am just more of a take at a look at the lineup and adjust right before the game person.

Ok sorry to post again but tried the 7 day method. Made out my lineups with players sitting here and then and turned on RTS. Entered my game and it completely ignored my lineup listed.
I left the game (since it didn't start) and went to 7 day lineups and my lineup in there is set the way I wanted it. So for some reason it is not carrying over when I enter a game. *EDIT* Didn't see that I had to turn 7 day lineups on as an option.
