Real League simulation (Portugal)
Hi!
What is the best way to create teams and change fictional player names to real player names in order to simulate a baseball league? What attributes should I change to reflect the real players? Should I change the attributes? Thank you. |

You can set the league nationality to Portugal during the setup. All places with come from the available cities in the database. Set your foreigner % to 0 to have all Portuguese names. Also there's an international free agent / year option, set that to 0 (default is 3)

I want to give my own team names and team players (using real life player names).
How can I set this up quickly, without having to edit each player info in the player profile? Is there any file I can change the player names and attributes?

I've never done it, but I believe there is a way to import real-life players/teams to a fictional league. The only one I can think of off the top of my head who's done it is The Game, but I'm sure there are others.

You can set your team names in the league creation wizard. Set up the league structure and rules, don't do a draft, start the game. Export rosters then go into the roster file and put your own names in there. It will be like editing an excel spreadsheet. When your done import new roster you just made back in the game. And enjoy
