Does anyone know if there have been any older (but not deadball era old) MLB uniforms/caps? I am specifically interested in the California Angels (not Anaheim, not L.A.); les Expos de Montreal; the garish and seemingly endless choices of the Oakland A's and Pittsburgh ("We Are Family") Pirates; the 'I don't know what color this jersey should be' striping of the Houston Astros; the yellow and blue of the Seattle Mariners and Milwaukee Brewers; and the brown ("I look like a taco" --Steve Garvey) of the San Diego Padres.
Has anyone made these? I have searched for hours and come up empty.

I've seen loads of these. You may have to scour the photobucket pages of the excellenet graphic artists we have here on the forum in order to find them, but they are definitely available.

It seems to be at minimum 95% accurate, especially the closer to modern day you get. Also the 1960-2008 MLB Compiles Jersey set has some great alternate jerseys but no caps. Some examples from the 1901-2011 set: Forgot link: http://www.ootpmods.com/facegen Last edited by The Game; 07-25-2012 at 08:36 PM. |
