League began in July of 2011 with the MLB quick-start file and we got through 4 seasons in '12 before moving to '13. We have a solid core of at least 20 GMs who've been with us since Day 1. Our forums are incredibly active (Over 12,000 posts in our first year) with discussions, team reports, league articles and insider reporting. The league's rules & processes are constantly evolving as we're always looking for ways to improve on the experience. We have a very experienced 5 member Executive Committee that helps make decisions and steer the league in the right direction.

We're a very active league and we require another active GM to join us. Simply exporting is not good enough for the BML. Our community demands that all of our GMs are involved to ensure the competitiveness of the league remains high. We have some very strict financial rules that means you need to make money in order to spend money. That doesn't mean a small market team can't compete with the big boys, far from it. In our first 4 seasons we already have a dynasty with the Tampa Bay Rays winning 3 out of 4 WS and the Oakland A's winning the other year. You need to maximize your talent and make shrewd financial decisions if you hope to compete.

We will have 1 opening this Offseason when we move to OOTP '13. The change will happen next week as soon as our current season World Series wraps up.

The team is currently TBD because we always allow our current GMs the chance to switch franchises. This helps gets as many GMs as possible onto teams they root for.
