Newbie Questions

Downloaded the game and I am enjoying it so far. Started a historic replay just to get a feel for the game and have a couple of questions I dont see a clear answer to in the online manual. In a Historical replay, do transactions get automatically generated and no others allowed? Basically I dont know or can find out what makes a historical replay historical. While I don't need exact lineups and starting pitchers I don't want trades that really change the whole complexion of the replay.

Also I started by purchasing the game on my iPhone and bought an additional season, when I did a sync the game app was installed on my iPad but not the additional season I purchased. While I can assume I cant play the same replay on both devices I would have thought the additional season I purchased would be available on both as both devices are registered under my same iTunes account.

Thanks in advance.....

You can turn trades off or use historical transactions. If you keep trades on it means that Babe Ruth can be traded away from the NY Yankees (happened to me in 1925, he went to the Chicago Cubs) I never used historical transactions on 12 and havent played any replays on 13 so far.
Basically a Historical Replay is playing with the lineup that was on the field during that season. Forgot if the players are from OD or that may have been there by seasons end.
I can't answer your 2nd question since I do not own an Ipad or Iphone.

Thanks for your answer. As I was reading some of the threads I came across a link to much more detailed instuctions then I got when I clicked on the "manual" tab in the game. This weekend I start my 1984 Cubs replay. I did this replay several years ago on APBA computer baseball. Got them to the WS with a 3-2 lead and ending up losing in game 7 giving up 4 HR's to the Tigers after taking a 2-0 lead. Time for revenge. I'm still bitter over a computer game

The right team won (well as long as it wasn't the Cubs) and hopefully will do the same on OOTP.
