Problem with historical players

Ive figured out how to import historical players but they dont have their historical stats or positions . what am i doing wrong here?

What options are you using? Are you using a different DB other then the default? Also some players started out at a different position and moved. I just imported a few players and cloned them and they are other positions then what we know them as. Dale Murphy, Chipper Jones, Wally Joyner to name a few. Also some may have to be scouted for their position to show up when none are listed. Who are some of the players you are talking about?
