Why should I join?

We have everything you know you want out of an 'Out of the Park 13' league. We have stuff you didn't even know you wanted until you get here. MLB Pro is a fully-immersive, wholly unique experience that offers up the truest tests of a general manager's abilities.

What makes MLB Pro so unique?

The combination of a number of things. Among some of which are...

A 'one day, every day' simulation schedule. We keep the exact schedule as the MLB.
We have hired the 10-year veteran simulation sports reporter Joe Simpson to cover our league, including analysis, interviews, and investigative reporting.
John Comey of the Philadelphia Phillies hosts a regular podcast about the league.
We operate with OOTP Online Utilities and use it for running our draft, voting for All-Stars, league awards, and the Hall of Fame (among other things.)
We have a fully-functional website here.
We have a league Twitter account. The handle is MLB Pro.
Over half of the general managers operate a team Twitter account as well.
Our Amateur Draft runs for two months (in real time) during April and May.
I pride myself on being a dedicated commissioner. I do what I say I will do or I will have an explanation for why things aren't going as planned. I am patient. Most of all, I make my leagues as nice of a league to be in as possible. I try to make things easy to find so we can keep moving like an oiled machine. I won't stop trying to make my leagues the best around. That is my promise to you.

I have to get a team! How do I do it?

We have a handy-dandy registration form you can fill out on our website by clicking here. Once you fill that out, you will be added to the waiting list. Once we have a team for you, you will receive an e-mail informing you of the team. You will then have the option to take the team, reject and go back to the waiting list, or withdraw your application.

All teams have been taken but everyone should still sign up on the waiting list. That will get you a team MUCH faster than watching this thread.

Wanted to register and hopefully get Mets, but many of your forum, league windows open without a slider bar. Can't change size of window either, so can't get to bottom of screen to enter info

I don't have that problem so I'm not sure what you are dealing with. I haven't heard of people having that issue.

I'm the new Brewers GM and I'm super excited as this league looks like it has a lot of promise. I've been around leagues as a participant and commish for nearly 2 decades now, but most recently with PFS. That game didn't do it for me in the long-term and it was difficult to keep a league full and active, so we folded recently. Anyway, I'm glad I found a league that seems up to the same level of standards that OOTP is, which is just what I've been waiting for.

Anyway, I had the same Firefox problems and emailed the commish about it over the weekend.

Once I get the new league file, I'll start tinkering away!

I was curious though about the rules as there isn't a page posted yet? Scouts and coaches on hopefully since they work well this year. I'm a proud beta-tester and the days of "turning things off because they don't work" should be behind us now!
