Fictional League w/DH?

Hi guys; relative newcomer here. Loving the game, have several replays going, but I have a question.

What I want to do is create a fictional league that has the MLB setup as far as subleagues, divisions, etc., but that uses the DH in one of the subleagues, like the AL does. (I want to take over a DH team).

I must be missing a basic setting or something, but every time I set up a fictional league and use the 'MLB setup' option, neither league uses the DH somehow.

Any help would be appreciated; I figure you guys could answer this quickly, seems like a helpful community. Thanks in advance!

Under league setup you'll find an option to enable the DH in one or both subleagues. It's under the rules tab.
