Editing Players

I have edited a few players in my season. All I did was find a few minor league players that were fictional, (roster fillers)- and edited them.
The changes included- name, height, weight, and ratings.
This was just a way to get myself, buddies, etc into the game. Obviously- since these were minor leaguers with life sentences at the A level- I made some significant changes to the ratings to match those of a MLB player.

Now the issue is this- for those players that I edited that are not on the team I am controlling- I continuously see the team they are on place them on waivers- since they are good rated players- several claims are put in for them....they get claimed, them the team that claimed them places them on waivers again, and the cycle starts all over......to the point that they are not getting any AB's because they are on waivers constantly.

These are all AI run teams- but these editied players match other MLB players- so it cant be because the AI doesnt feel they are not worthy of a roster spot- (AT any level for that matter)

Can anyone provide insight as to why this is taking place?
