Question About Adding Teams/Schedule

Ran into a problem today. I had a 6-team league that played a 50-game season. Everything was fine and then after 4 years I added a 7th team during the off-season (I believe in January). When I was able to regenerate a new schedule I did. Then, the next season for some reason it wasn't a full 50 games. Anyone know what the problem is? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a specific time I'm supposed to add teams?

Also, I tried ignoring it and going to the next season where I made a 60-game schedule. Same problem. And some teams played a different amount of games.

Any help would be appreciated.

7 is an odd number of teams. One team must always be off right???? Perhaps that's your problem?

Tested and confirmed that this is the case.

With a 50-game schedule, one team has 42 games, the other teams have 43.
With a 60-game schedule, three teams have 51 games, the other four have 52.

The only way to have everyone play the same number of games without manual editing is to set the number of games to, for example, 56, as that number is divisible by 7. Each team would actually play 48 games.

Figured it out before I could read the replies, but thanks guys!

If anyone could help me out on these other two problems it would also be awesome.

The first is that my league won't let me generate an unbalanced schedule for some reason.

The second is that originally in this league I used the All-American mod for names, ethnicities, etc. Around 1945 I overwrote the database with the game's default settings for those things. The names are different now and follow the names in the database I put in. However, there seems to be a problem where everyone is caucasian. No matter if there name is Smith, Chen, Ramirez, whatever, they are always caucasian. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Known weakness of OOTP's schedule generator.
2. It's 1945. That's probably the reason, since everyone in MLB was Caucasian back then.

So is there anyway I can get a 160-game unbalanced schedule with interleague play?

Help with one of my earlier questions...anyone have any idea why my league has no black or Hispanic looking players?

Everyone is Caucasian unless I manually go into their editor and change them.

Anyone know of a way to fix this?
