Recent draft log with player stats?
I am looking for a report that I originally saw discussed on the board (can't find it).
It showed the recent draft results with current stats accompanying the player as well as showing what minor league level the player was in. Example: Pick 1 Joe Smith RF AA .342/.390/.402 Pick 2 Bill Hall SP R 4.23 ERA etc. I believe players who were in the big leagues were shown in teal font. I know how to look at previous draft results, but I can't find this report that also shows their current stats. Anyone know? |

Bump
I KNOW this report exists. I have seen it. Its a really cool report to get a quick glance at the recent draft and see the stats of all the picks (plus the level of ball they are playing at). You can quickly see which guys are lighting it up and which top picks are having really poor seasons. I simply cannot find it. It is buried. Does anyone know what I am talking about? |

I remember seeing this, too, but haven't used it in game yet. I will see if I can find it when my game stops simming and let you know.
EDIT Aha! Found it. Here is the old thread: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...mentioned.html Basically go into your league's history and select a year of the league (if you have two conferences you will have to select one). On the top, where you have the tabs, there is a tab for "Drafted Players", and that will take you to it. EDIT again: I just came up with my own question for anyone who can answer. I am assuming that since some players don't show up (i.e. round 1 may only have a 1, 3, 6, etc. that these were the result of either a) losing the pick to compensation or b) the player didn't sign with the team that drafted him. Is either, or both, of these correct? Last edited by daveawrit; 05-16-2012 at 12:58 PM. |

I am setting up a league using feeder leagues and simmed 30 years. I then went to check that I was getting enough players for the draft. For drafts 4-5 years before the current year I saw the number of picks displayed on this report drop. Back to the beginning where there were only 40-50 players listed when it should have been near 400. I then stopped deleting those retired players and the draft list stayed full. |
